IndianCashback.com was founded in 2013 at NIT Calicut, Kerala, by a passionate group of engineering students. Their vision was clear: make online shopping affordable and rewarding, especially for those in Tier 2 and Tier 3 cities.
Over the years, IndianCashback has evolved from a side project to one of India’s leading cashback platforms. Major milestones include:
2015: Partnered with Paytm to offer 100% cashback on mobile recharges
2016: Relocated to Bangalore and expanded the team
2018: Launched high-cashback gift cards
2023: Introduced the ICB Instant Pay Card with Yes Bank
In 2025, the company embraced a bold shift in leadership, welcoming a female CEO, CTO, and CMO. Today, over 50% of the workforce are women, reinforcing IndianCashback’s mission of diversity and innovation.
